Intel has appointed Lip-Bu Tan as CEO, who intends to take the company’ s manufacturing operations in a new strategic direction.
Lip-Bu, a technology leader with semiconductor industry experience, succeeds Interim Co-CEOs David Zinsner and Michelle Johnston Holthaus.
He will rejoin the Intel board, while David and Michelle remain in their roles. Frank Yeary returns as Independent Chair.
