PaperLab was first launched by Epson in 2015 . “ It ’ s still a pretty ground-breaking approach to printing to be able to recycle and make new paper for uses no water ,” explains Ohlsson . “ Normally , paper recycling and making is a very resource intensive process . The idea with PaperLab is to take printed paper , pass it through the machine to remove all the ink or laser pigments and create new paper to use once again in house .
