PEOPLE & SKILLS
From education outreach in schools to opportunities for women to reskill, BAE Systems has developed programmes to bring more women into STEM.
In a series of blogs about life at the company, BAE highlights a range of women and their careers. Anika, a Project Engineer in Australia, says in one:“ At BAE Systems, I have infinite possibilities. I have had the opportunity to work across a lot of different areas of the business and aspects of engineering, from the air space to maritime to land to cyber, and all these flexibilities allow you to challenge yourself technically.”
Caroline, a Principal Manufacturing Engineer in the UK, writes:“ BAE Systems is very good at supporting women and there are so many opportunities for women in engineering. Working at BAE Systems has allowed me to develop and I think it’ s made me a completely different person from who I was when I graduated. I’ m now more confident and less introverted.”
