The factory opened at a moment when bringing critical technology manufacturing back to American soil had never been more important – and over the past six years, it has become one of the strongest proof points in the tech reshoring conversation. In 2021, we received a LEED Gold Certification and were recognised by the World Economic Forum as both a Global Lighthouse and Sustainability Lighthouse. Since then, we have expanded our product portfolio, strengthened our New Product Introduction capabilities and scaled operations to support growing customer demand.
Today, the factory serves as both a production hub and a center for advanced manufacturing innovation, attracting customers, policymakers and industry leaders from around the world.
Q. HOW HAS THE FACTORY CHANGED?
» The USA 5G Smart Factory has evolved significantly since opening in 2020. We started with a single commercial Street Macro product and have since expanded into a much broader portfolio of advanced 5G radio, baseband and RAN processor technologies to meet the evolving needs of US customers. Along the way, we have scaled production, strengthened our New Product Introduction capabilities and increased our ability to bring new technologies to market more quickly.
