Digit is Agility Robotics’ bipedal humanoid robot that is designed to support companies within the logistics and warehousing industry. It began commercial operations at a GXO Logistics facility in June 2024 becoming the first humanoid robot in a live, commercial workplace. One of its features is the backward bending legs, which the company describes as something that improves stability and efficiency for repetitive tasks. Digit is equipped with LiDAR, depth cameras and internal sensors to map spaces and maintain balance.
