Thomas Gaengler is moving from Mondelēz International to Barry Callebaut as COO, bringing more than 30 years of supply chain, procurement and operations leadership. At Mondelēz, he led End-to-End Supply Chain across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa before spending the last four years as Global Chief Procurement Officer. CEO Hein Schumacher says his experience will be invaluable as Barry Callebaut executes its‘ Focus for Growth’ strategy, reinstating a standalone COO role as it sharpens its focus on operational excellence.
