2014 also marked a significant advance in Clariant Chile mining unit , after investing more than one million dollars to raise the production of chemicals ( for flotation of sulfidic ores and additives for fertilizers ) by 6,500 tons .

We also serve Central America and the Caribbean , South America , and many of our products go to Europe , Africa and Asia . In that sense , our geographical position , presence and distinguished service of the past 50 years , are our main differentiators against the rest of our competitors ,” said Hernández .
