The challenge with making the right changes to support the future of our planet is that not everybody appreciates the sense of urgency ,” laments Ohlsson , citing the coronavirus crisis as an example . “ It ’ s a dramatic situation where the sense of urgency was not immediately understood ; the same problem persists with climate change where the lack of a sense of urgency is preventing success . In good times we have to do the right things otherwise in bad times we ’ ll get caught out – this applies across the whole sustainability story . At Epson this is understood as a top down approach but each individual has to contribute as well , from the bottom up .”
