Herran graduated from the Technical Industrial Learning Center ( CETI ) in Guadalajara , Jalisco , as an industrial engineer , specialized in automation . He obtained a Master of Science degree from Texas A & M . Before being named general manager for IMI Mexico in late 2013 , Herran worked for General Motors and GM affiliates such as Delphi Delco Electronics . Other former employers include Flextronics , Celestica and Johnson Controls . Herran is experienced both in manufacturing processes as well as in management and negotiations .
