OPERATIONS
The people closest to the work usually have the best sense of where the real opportunities are.
Many of our automation initiatives actually begin with ideas from operators and frontline employees. By bringing them in early on design, testing and implementation, we create better solutions and accelerate adoption at the same time.
Another challenge is skills development. Advanced automation requires new capabilities, so we’ ve invested heavily in training, crossskilling and career development, with learning embedded in daily work as technologies continue to evolve.
Success depends on having a strong data foundation. AI and automation are only as effective as the quality of the information supporting them, which is why we’ ve invested in curated data models, governance and trusted data sources. Our goal is to make sure employees can make confident decisions based on accurate, relevant information. At the end of the day, more data isn’ t the point – better decisions are.
Q. WHERE DO YOU SEE AUTOMATION IN YOUR FACILITY NEXT?
» Looking ahead, our focus is on smarter automation. We see significant opportunities to expand AI-enabled decision support, advanced robotics, connected autonomous systems and intelligent quality management. Our goal is to create systems that are more adaptive, flexible and responsive
