In 2025, Mars signed an agreement with Enel North America supporting three new solar projects in Texas expected to generate approximately 1.8TWh of renewable electricity each year. By 2030, Kevin says the programme has the potential to reduce emissions by around three million tonnes of CO₂ equivalent per year.
“ Programmes like RAcc enable us to aggregate demand and support the development of new renewable energy capacity, while site-level analysis allows us to identify the most appropriate technologies based on local needs,” Kevin says.
